Welcome to Participatory Budget 2026!

Avatar: Official post Official post

We’re officially kicking off a new edition of Participatory Budgeting! This year, the city is allocating €3 million to projects proposed and voted on directly by residents. Through this democratic process, everyone has a say in how we improve our neighborhoods and invest in the future we want to live in.

In this first phase, we’re focusing on sharing information and getting everyone up to speed on how the process works. We've published an overview of the rules, funding allocations by district, and a full calendar of key dates. Whether you're interested in proposing a community garden, improving accessibility in your building, or launching a youth employment program, this is the time to learn how to get involved.

We also invite you to attend one of the upcoming neighborhood info sessions, either in person or online. These meetings are a great way to meet the facilitators, ask questions, and get inspired by previous projects. Let’s build a city together—step by step, street by street.
