Improve street lighting in underlit areas

Dark streets can feel unsafe, especially for women and older residents. This proposal recommends a citywide audit of poorly lit areas and the installation of modern, energy-efficient LED street lights in identified locations.

Better lighting not only deters crime but also encourages evening use of public space. The project should also involve residents in reporting areas that need urgent attention.
