Desert-Adapted Agriculture Training

Avatar: Shevek Shevek Accepted
In response to Sedep's harsh desert conditions and growing food security challenges, this proposal aims to provide training for local farmers on advanced desert-adapted agricultural techniques. The training will focus on water-efficient irrigation methods, the use of drought-resistant crops, and sustainable soil management practices. By learning these techniques, farmers can increase productivity and reduce their dependence on costly and unsustainable water supplies. The proposal includes workshops, field demonstrations, and expert consultations to help farmers adopt these practices. Ultimately, this initiative seeks to improve local food production and reduce Sedep’s reliance on imported food.
