Tree Planting for Windbreaks

Avatar: Shevek Shevek Accepted
The frequent dust storms in Sedep cause significant damage to both crops and infrastructure, while also negatively impacting air quality. This proposal suggests a large-scale tree planting initiative aimed at creating windbreaks around key agricultural areas and public spaces. The trees, carefully selected for their drought resistance, would help reduce wind erosion, protect crops, and shield public infrastructure from the damaging effects of sand and dust. This project also has environmental benefits, contributing to soil stabilization and the improvement of local air quality. A community-led tree planting effort would engage residents in protecting their local environment and encourage long-term sustainability.
