Community Composting Initiative

Sedep generates a significant amount of organic waste that currently ends up in landfills. This proposal seeks to establish a community composting program that would divert organic waste from landfills and turn it into nutrient-rich compost for use in local agriculture and community gardens. The program would involve setting up compost collection points around the city, training residents on how to compost effectively, and distributing the finished compost to local farmers and gardeners. This initiative not only addresses waste management issues but also helps improve soil quality and supports sustainable food production in Sedep.
