Community Wind Turbines
Given the frequent and strong winds in the Dust Region, this proposal advocates for the installation of small-scale wind turbines to generate renewable energy for Sedep's community buildings, including schools, health clinics, and public administration offices. Harnessing wind power will help reduce Sedep's dependence on expensive and unreliable external energy sources, while also lowering the city's carbon footprint. This project proposes installing turbines in strategic locations where wind conditions are optimal and training local technicians to maintain and operate the equipment. The electricity generated will be used to power critical community services, ensuring more stable and affordable energy for residents.
